PS Major Meredith Weitz completes internship at the Supreme Court Historical Society
PSPA is proud to recognize PS major Meredith Weitz who competed an internship at the Supreme Court Historical Society.
In her role, Meredith, a senior from Maryland, contributed to the civic education mission of our Supreme Court.
Meredith says, "As a Civic Education Intern, I contributed to the development and enhancement of educational initiatives aimed at promoting an understanding of the U.S. Supreme Court. My responsibilities included:
- Conducting comprehensive research on landmark Supreme Court cases and justices to support educational content.
- Authoring and editing materials for programs such as "Supreme Court and My Hometown" and the "Beyond the Bench" website.
- Participating in the creation and evaluation of civics education resources.
- Developing periodic communications to foster civic engagement and awareness.
- Collaborating with the Civics Education Team on various projects and undertaking additional tasks as assigned.
This role allows me to apply my research and writing skills to produce impactful educational materials, while gaining valuable experience in legal history and civic education."
