Kate is the Academic Advisor in the College of Arts & Sciences for Undergraduate Majors in GLA, BSIS and Political Science. Kate has a Master of Science in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Student Affairs and Higher Education, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State University. She married her husband, Jeremy Sawaya, in the spring of 2018. Together they have two dogs and two cats. In her spare time, Kate enjoys baking, playing with her pets and volunteering with Junior Auxiliary of Starkville. PSPA undergraduates can find Kate in Bowen Hall 190 or Allen Hall 513.
